IWFS Oakville & Area Chapter Bordeaux Style (VQA Meritage) blending event

Thursday April 2011 at the Oakville Club with Jean-Pierre Colas 

Program: 6:30 to 7:00

Chef’s choice of Hors d’Oeuvres 

Paired with 13th Street Winery: 2009 Gewurtztraminer and Gamay Noir

7:15 start Wine blending experience, lead by Jean-Pierre

Some Hors d’Oeuvres and some bread will be served 8:30- 9:00….

When we have selected our favorite blend (s?)Hot tapas will be served:

Chicken Wellington (mushroom/cheese/chicken/puff)

Chili Garlic Shrimp on Asian noodle salad (no vinegar in dressing)

Followed by cheese and fruit platters.

Matched by the latest wines creations from Jean-Pierre’s own brand: Essence(Sauvignon Blanc and Pinot noir)
