The olive oil tasting event

This event featured an olive oil and balsamic vinegar tasting.

Structured as a cocktail party our event was centred around an olive oil and balsamic vinegar sampling with educational elements provided by the owner of Olivo Fresco.

The Kerr Street Cafe is provided hors d’oeuvres that showcased the oils of Olivo Fresco and were offered throughout the evening as we enjoyed our tastings.

The hors d’oeuvres were paired with wines highlighting the terroir in which the olives are grown.

Menu:

roasted green grapes and burratta cheese served on fluffy brioche round drizzled with Olivo Fresco olive oil and rosemary

mini caprese salad (sliced fresh tomatoes, mozarella and a basil pesto using Olivo Fresco olive oil) served on a polenta round

individual sweet potato or celeriac gnocchi tossed in a kale pesto using Olivo Fresco olive oil served on a dim sum spoon

a herbed olive oil pie crust with strawberry filling
