Recommendations – april 2016

A few wines recommendations from your Cellar Master:

Day to day cheap wines from the LCBO General Listing (not Vintages)
White:
Chile: The 2015 Viognier from Cono Sur: Body, acidity and fruit for $9.95! on its own or with fish?

Reds:
Italy: Colle Secco, Montepulciano d’Abruzzo 2012. Medium body, easy drinking at $9.00!
Ontario: Burger Blend 2014 (Pinot Noir & Gamay) from 13th Street Winery. Nice fruit and medium body for $14.95

From agents: (I could recommend a lot but I will have to collect the orders (sent to my email cfrayssignes@rogers.com) and then arrange for 1 delivery point). Invoice will be sent by the agents.
Sold by cases of 12 (if someone wants to share we could try to add orders of 6 together).
If you want to try, I could start with the following 2 selections:
A White From Nokhrin Wines:
À classic now (I have been buying it for 5 years) A real Sauvignon Blanc with light-medium body, good acidity and fruit
France: Sauvignon Blanc Touraine 2014 Gibeault at $15 + taxes

A Red From NP Wines (Nicholas Pierce):
A 10 years old Bordeaux: nice body, fruit and soft tannins, no waiting time, already aged!
France : Château du Moulin Noir, Montagne Saint Emilion 2006. 24.95 + taxes

Cheers
Christian
