“I thought last night was brilliant, in a most lovely setting. The flowers from Tom’s garden added a beautiful touch to the table settings. The room with the paintings was large, not noisy, and ideal for a larger crowd. A very wise choice.

There was time to mingle in the “ kitchen “ before before the most interesting and different dinner. Lovely to see some of my trays being put to good use in the serving! Tom’s presentation of the Rieslings was excellent – and the selection showed a good contrast in styles. Bravo Tom. Indeed I still remember his presentation of, I think Burgundy or Bordeaux wines, at the Oakville Club so many years ago.
The menus was colourful and nice to have. I think we should all appreciate the hard work which goes into its production. Nice to see many of our members involved in helping make the dinner such a success.. May I suggest however, that relatively new members and guests be introduced at our meetings. This might help them feel more welcomed.
