The menu has been created for us by Cascata Bistro’s Chef Paul Gauthier, who trained under Executive Chef Jason Bangerter at Langdon Hall;
Amuse bouche; Gougères filled with goat cheese and caramelized onion plus a surprise…
First course: Trout rillette with crème fraiche and sourdough crostini
Main course: Braised lamb shank with glazed leeks, spiced cabbage puree and red wine jus
OR
Polenta and seared mushrooms with caramelized apple and ice cider reduction
Dessert: Sonia’s homemade Dutch cocoa and almond flour cake with dark chocolate ganache and cardamom and orange cranberry puree.

Pricing is $135 for members/$150 for guests.
We have plenty of space, so do not hesitate to invite them to this most unusual holiday event!
The barn will be heated, Accessible to all, and we will have use of the ‘facilities’ in the house.
Dress code is warm and casual, and whoever gets the most votes for the Ugliest Christmas Sweater will win a beautiful bottle of wine 😉
The registration should be open soon, please check tomorrow, and PLEASE NOTE that menu choices are required a week in advance,
so we must close the registration on November 25th, 2024.

For those who wish to cut a tree, plan to arrive by 3pm as you will need light. We will give you shelter while you wait for the festivities to begin! Please refer to the website www.markschristmastrees.ca for more details, or reach out directly to Sonia at this email, with any questions.
There will be bunches of freshly cut Christmas greens available for purchase for those who won’t be able to go tree hunting!
